My 22/250 fur bullet is the 52 grain Berger Varmint, about 1 in ten exit on rib hits, deadly on frontals.

For factory ammo the 45 grain white box Winchester has been great, about as good as it gets.

The worst has been the 40 grain V Max, unless you want a wound 1/2" deep and a foot wide. Couldn't even make those work in a .223.


Life begins at 40. Recoil begins at "Over 40" Coincidence? I don't think so.
