That's correct, 'the Tribes'.........

The Tribes never referred to or included the gentiles.............

And they did indeed mourn, their way of life, their economy, their identity was done away with.


The event described is a world event, for all the tribes on earth to see.

"Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory..." Matt.


And just 3 verses later: '...Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened. ..'



Exactly. The described event was promised to happen within the lifetime of those living in that time. It failed to happen and the prophesy was progressively pushed forward up till the present day.


IF HE prophesied a specific generation and It did not happen, then HE was NOT the CHRIST!


Make of it what you will. I'm just pointing out what is written.


'...as it was in the days of Noah...' nobody listened then either.............. most anyway. And He also said that the events of MT 24 would be similar.....
