I would say, let her tell you when. Can she still move enough to get her where she wants to go with out too much pain?
I had a hunting dog that died from progressive kidney issues. Vets gave a similar outcome. The day he didnt get up from his bed when I opened the gun cabinet was the deciding factor for me.
