It’s time. Holding on when the prognosis is dim doesn’t make sense for the dog. Doing so becomes selfish.
Been there, lost both my little buddies at the same time. Similar ages, both had health/age issues. Had our vet come to the house. Broke my heart, but it was the right thing to do. Would do the same again.
