Funny thing about discussion forums that words on a computer screen posted from strangers can elicit homicidal emotions in some.

You post something negative about someone's superhero - the emotions, expletives and insults fly.

You question someone's facts or recollections - the emotions, expletives and insults fly.

You don't find someone's dog or truck particularly attractive - the emotions, expletives and insults fly.

Some folks need to find a new hobby and spend less time on the computer.
