No offense to the OP, but I can't imagine leaving the keys to any of my vehicles, or anything else, IN any of my vehicles!
First, my primary vehicles are 2001 and 2003
Nobody parks anywhere near me ... even at WalMart! LOL!
The ONLY time I leave my keys in my vehicle is when I'm out hunting. ....and that's so that "I" won't lose them.
Regardless, condolences on being violated! That just ain't right!
