I'm glad to hear that it reappeared on tracking and hope that everything will turn out-most of all that the tragedy of the broken stock is rectified.
Contrary to this event, I have had very good service from the USPS.
Hang in there. I recently had a package that had no updates for 16 days, filed a missing mail search and it showed up 3 days later.
Flat rate packages have been delivered sometimes in 3 or 4 days whereas payment in the form of a letter envelope can take 2 weeks.
The package mentioned above was 22 pounds of buckshot in a medium flat rate box. I think it sat on some table because an individual employee refused to pick it up because it was heavy. Contrary of course to their tag line "One rate any weight!"
