where on earth are you going to hunt all 3 on the same hunt?
As the photo points out, Montana for one. Our seasons run concurrent (for a couple weeks anyhow).
My antelope and deer rifle is always my elk rifle, but I haven't seen how it makes any difference if it's a 300 Mag or 270.
And, NO a 300 mag doesn't "make a real mess" of antelope any more than a 270, and depending on the bullet, perhaps less.
