colorado Campfire Regular C Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 2,145 Likes: 1 Colorado Springs, Colorado	A nice 150g Nosler scooting out of a 270 at close to 3000 fps will drop any elk in existence as long as you hit him right. That includes quartering shots, broadside and frontal, plenty of expansion and penetration. I don't take "Texas Heart Shots" I will shoot them in the back of the neck on the run though ... The 150g Nosler will open up nicely on deer and antelope too ... Chuck Last edited by colorado; 12/26/09.
