I was careful in the wood selection to get that weight,
the downside is it turned out to be relatively soft for english walnut. My checker had a hard time with it and it seems more prone
to scratches and dents than my other sticks of english.
There is a guy in Ausralia, named Roger Vardy that grades his blanks by weight as well as figure, he has a web site and is worth checking out. Otherwise I recommend picking your blank by hand.
