I'm glad that you got your scope back, but I sure wish there was some way to make it hurt a whole lot more for the perpetrator. I'm guessing he gets caught once out of every 50 or 100 times he does this crap and he's likely able to write that off as a costing of being in 'business' as a criminal.
Even if he doesn't get his scope back, its probably something he stole from someone else anyway, so what does he care?
