Some of the commnents remind me of something I once said to my mother regarding her church. The church was small, the the building and land belonged to the father of the preacher, and they were active in looking to buy more land with the church money. My Mom believed strongly in giving her 10%, and I suggested that the church might be taking advantage of her. Her words, which I will always remember were, "I give my money to God, and whatever he lets them do with it is his business"
