Hmmm.... I wonder if someone were to call Remington and provide the serail number if they would state the rifle began as an SPS... grin

I'm doing that tomorrow.


Doubt its even a SPS - no letter prefix on the serial number so its an older action in a SPS stock - also note the two screws in the side of the action towards the back, think they stopped doing that sometime in the late 1970's maybe?? Could be off on that guess but certainly pre SPS for sure. Parts gun at best??
