One "editor" ... changed my correct physics term for acceleration (feet per second per second) to the entirely incorrect feet per second because, he said, it'd be easier for the reader to understand.
IIRC, my description of the phenomenon included an explanation of why an increase in velocity from (a) zero
feet per second to (b)
x feet per second in (c)
y seconds was an increase of so many
feet per second per second.
Not good enough.
