Re: Republicans need to drop the Gun fight

Don’t feel to pregnant about this Billy Goat! I joined this merry band in 2001. Nine years later Carol was doing a survey as part of her college course, and she posted it here under my handle. You wouldn’t believe the amount of crap I got! For crying out loud, I was a member here for 9 years, and people thought I was trolling! It makes sense in a way, trust 1/2 of what you see, and none of what you hear, especially on the inter web! Like I said, we need a sarcasm button way more than we need a like button! You and probably most of the folks here got what I was saying. But the number of posters that replied otherwise is telling. Folks talk about how "dumb" the younger generations are, but the audience here isn't young by anyone's measure, and reading comprehension is seriously lacking.

Wife, son, and myself were trolling for silvers near Pony Cove when a pod of orca’s decided to swim by the port side of our Sea Sport. Each one was within 6 feet of the boat and as they swam by they turned their bodies a little looking up and making eye contact with us. A truly memorable experience.

People are "brainwashed" about evolution but believing in creation isn't from being "brainwashed"?
you've missed my point.
We've all been "brainwashed" by well meaning people from the time we were born. I was "brainwashed" in tenth grade biology to believe Negros were lower on the evolutionary scale than Caucasians. By the time I was twenty-five I was an atheistic evolutionist. A fellow showed me an article by an evolutionist with several photos of skeletons. To my chagrin the white skeleton was closer to the ape than the Negro skeleton. I was so upset I consulted a psychiatrist. After I did some more research I discovered ALL evolutionists were discredited by other evolutionists. So we all choose to believe whatever we feel the most comfortable with. After a few years I considered creation more believable than the alternative. Even the guy who discovered DNA said it was too complex to come about by chance. He coined the term "panspermia" (spacemen brought it)! And he remained a brainwashed evolutionist rather than accept the obvious: Information requires an Information Giver.
