I had a great, carefree deal with Hombre and could not be happier.

Due to some flap in the Classifieds, maybe I should expand. As I wrote elsewhere, if you refused to do business with anyone on the 'Fire who had a crusty personality (including me), you would do awfully few deals.

In the case of Hombre, I bought his tents earlier this month, just what I wanted and a fabulous deal, and he could not have been nicer in direct interaction. He swallowed the shipping costs via UPS and shipped extremely carefully so the poles did not rip the tents or go through the boxes.

As we get older, like me, we get more impatient. I gather that Hombre had some issues with the messaging here. We handled the tent sale fast and smoothly by direct email and I recommend processing deals with him that way. It worked fine for me.
