And here my 10/22 still has the el-cheapo BSA 2-7x 32mm scope that I put on it in 1999 as sort of a temporary thing until I could eventually get something good on it. Mine is also just a plinker/squirrel gun and I found that BSA to be better than I thought it would be. It sure ain't no Leupold, but it seemed to work pretty good anyway for what I was using it for. After 5 or 6 years I decided to just keep it on there until it either dies or I get sick of it. So here it is 2016 and it's still there. It works and its never given me a problem so I guess its earned a place on that 10/22. Sometimes it's nice to go cheapo and still get satisfied. I also discovered that I feel 2-7x magnification is just right for my plinking/small game usage.
