Weaver V9 or Clearridge Rimfire (they are the same scope) are two quality rimfire scopes in the $250 range.

I have the Clearridge on my daughters 10/22 and it works well.
My other 2 10/22s wear the SS Classic 1-4 which is all I need on a 50-100 yard rifle.
