I did some scope switching a while back that left my 10/22 w/o glass. So after spending way too much time researching, I settled on a regular Leupold VX-1 2-7x33, which has click adjustments and Muti-Coat 4 coatings that used to be on the almost top of the line VX-III's back in the day.

I re-set the parallax to 50 yards, sighted it in, and was plinkin' at will (and everyone else) with reckless abandon. Quite pleased with it. Bought at Optics Planet for $178.00 delivered, which is a only hair over your budget.


I for sure could use a scope for my 10/22 and Winchester...
It gets old going thru a couple hundred rounds of rimfire and not getting tight groups..
