I've got a Weaver K-6 and I'm shooting 200 Hornady's like you mentioned. All I can think about is shooting an elk with this bubba... Af far as the flash in the pan comment, who cares??? We're reloaders right? I haven't bought a single box of ammo for this thing yet. It is just too reloader friendly for us to be concerned about here. I can't believe it has taken so long for this to become a factory rifle. It's too bad Weatherby and A-Square adopted the 338-06. That decision killed a beautiful round.
