At the range yesterday, I fired a couple of 5 shot groups from the bench at 100 yards out of my Weatherby Vanguard Varmint Special with:
Fiocchi once fired neck sized brass
Nosler 40 gr Ballistic Tip
Winchester Small Rifle Primers
26.5 gr Accurate 2015
Even in fairly gusting winds, they average just over .5 of an inch. While the 2015 doesn't flow through the powder measure like Ramshot TAC or Accurate 2200, it does give very good performance especially with lighter bullets.
I also load a lot of rounds with 26.0 gr of TAC and 50 gr bullets. Both my .223's have 1 in 12" twist barrels and seem happiest with the 40 and 50 gr bullets. The 55 gr aren't too bad and I have never tried anything heavier.
