Well, since you can't run, and strength ain't an issue for you, just figure out some other way to get a good cardio workout 3 days/wk. I might suggest a Concept II rower for one day, push the Prowler another, and maybe find one of these:

You really should consider adding some Crossfit workouts to your regimine. Strength is what limits most (me included) but that wouldn't be an issue for you.

Also, whatever your hip issue is, don't just suck it up and live with it, someone might be able to help you. Go to a ortho MD and get his opinion, then try to find an experienced PT who will also work with a sports chiropractor, it may take all three to get you fixed.
