Don't you mean 4320 instead of 4230?

Also, IMR-4831 was not available in 1965, when O'Connor's book was published, so I'm pretty sure he was using 56 grains of H 4831 with the 220 grain bullet.


Probably O'Conner was using surplus 4831 back then when it was 50 cents a pound like the rest of us.
