DISAPPOINTED......................IN FORBES 24b 6.5X55 Received my new 6.5x55 and checked out the COAL for it.

Breaking BAD here. It has more free bore than a Weatherby rifle.

The purpose for the 1/8 twist is to shoot long target bullets, 140's that like to be jammed not jumped. The COAL comes out to a bit over 3.330. WAY TO MUCH THROAT! Ideal for a Berger 140 VLD would be about 3.120. Whoever made the decision to throat these rifles out so long doesn't have ANY CLUE as to what is going on.
