My point is this....if they throated the rifle appropriately for the 140 VLD, how would this work in the chamber?

I'm pretty critical of manufacturers throating choices too, but I realize they're taking lots of things into consideration. If the 140 VLD was all I was going to shoot, I'd have a barrel screwed on and throated to my liking.

I've also seen Bergers shoot bugholes at long distances with lots of jump.


I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!
