Tikka's have deep throats...and they shoot well. Savage's have deep throats...and they shoot well too.
No factory rifle (6.5) is going to be throated appropriately for the 140 VLD. If they were, factory ammo designed for the cartridge may cause other issues. I'm sure SAAMI chamber specs take into consideration bullets from the time period the cartridge was designed.
I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!
