Well, it was close, but not quite the correct answer-- you missed it by just a pellet, or couple of bubbles as the case may be. Kids, please stay in school. Basic command of the English language can prove valuable.

Careful study of the Flintlock Muzzleloader Season by those with basic intelligence reveals that it is no more discriminatory to require the use of a Flintlock during flintlock season than it might be to require the actual use of a bow during bow season, to ask that you be a Senior to participate in a senior season, or indeed be a Youth to engage in a youth hunt. By nature, it is admittedly a bit confining to allow the hunting of only deer during deer season, but that form of species-specific discrimination is quite common. It is a series of jolting, riveting revelations, actually. Quite the stunner to those not skilled in the art.

Though 24 Hour Campfire is doing well, and hardly needs the traffic: importantly, this peculiar brand of special entertainment comes with no cover charge. Be good to one another, dont forget to tip your waitress, and please try the veal on Thursdays.

I cant say for Pennsylvania but here in Idaho its always been the accepted reasoning that a lesser weapon based on many different qualities be aloud in a more advance weapons hunt.
I archery and muzzleloader be that traditional and modern , have their own seasons .
Some units are designated as traditional only , with traditional being defined .
In the general muzzleloading units because of the more liberal application of whats accepted traditional weapon weapons are also aloud .

When it comes to archery , modern muzzleloading and traditional , they all are aloud in the general season as lesser weapons then modern center fire . However even the general any weapons season there are still areas that are define as short range weapons only which allow only archery shotgun or muzzleloading .

Now why we have always disagreed on the direct comparing of traditional and modern weapons . I can say and will say that when confined to strict guidelines of open sights , PRB and lose powder equivalent by volume and open ignitions I see very little if no difference between the two applications .
Fast twist barrels ? Well I would say if you want to shoot conical then purchase a barrel for that conical .
Just as if the law only allows PRB then as a modern shooter purchase a PRB barrel for your weapon if your looking for the best accuracy from that projectile .
. Sabots , jacketed bullets , modern optics , smokeless powder IMO remove that equality even when applicable in a traditional weapon . Im not saying they should be outlawed but only aloud in defined situations .

Now the rest of you post its refreshing to see and I must say spot on and well said .
Be careful though as as the old political two step and topic shuffle is starting to be applied and you will get a long drawn out 50 page reply where your issues are never really adressed
Be safe T7
