I forget the name but it seems like it would have to have been this one, the COP .357 Derringer.

Thirty years back I had a Texas motorcycle buddy that packed one of these everywhere, swore by it. As I recollect though in stainless as it was it was heavier than and near as bulky as a regular Airweight j-frame. Double action, IIRC there was a rotating firing pin gizmo that hit each barrel, one after the other, every time the trigger was pulled.

But, just like with a SxS shotgun, in this case I think the just looks of them four muzzles at the business end counted for a lot.

IIRC, it was bulkier than a J snubby too. I remember it having the moniker "COP Gun". It pre-dated the .357 J frame, which is why I considered buying one.... until I had one in my hands for about 10 minutes. Ironically, I now think I should have bought it just for the novelty. It would make an interesting historical conversation piece.
