So here is my end result. It turned out fine and feeding and chambering work great. I went a little deeper than planned as it was done freehand and no depth gauge and I got a little carried away.


75 Grain Amax loaded to kiss. COAL = 2.445" in modded and OEM mag.

Anyway, hope this will shed a little more light on the process. A total mag COAL of 2.500" would have worked fine but if there is ever a need I have even more latitude the way mine turned out.
