The .450 Bushmaster is the hot ticket here in lower Michigan. It seems everyone is buying Ruger Americans. They are cheap and accurate (and as elegant as a fence post). Without the brake, they are not pleasant to shoot; the butt is narrow and it feels like the pad is too soft and collapses.
That being said, that #1 is butt ugly! I would like to have have a #1 in .460 S&W which is also legal here; head space on the rim rather than mouth and higher max operating pressure.
