I saw the No1 in 450BM a few days ago. I have to say my negative opinion is unchanged. This is not to my taste.

Just to offer a contrary view. Consider this. There a whole new generation of shooters who started out with AR-15 and perhaps graduated to a black bolt action. Their whole universe is black guns and black calibers. This No1 might serve as an intro to many young shooters into the world of the single shot. I dont mean black in color, literally, its a type. The 450 bushmaster No1 might be a good thing to drawn some new buyers. Even old buyer looking for different. It is different. How many same-old same-old does the 'average' nut want. In my case, the last Ruger No1 I purchased was several year ago. I now have two and I dont plan on buying another. Could happen, Never say never. On the other hand, there are a lot of shooters out there who maybe eager to try something different. For them any No1, is a big difference.
