The only advantage of the 460 over the 450 is the rim and ability to roll crimp. In bolt or single shots, case capacity and potential velocities are pretty much the same


You could do some fun plinking with 45 LC in a 460. Also hunt with 454 which is a more common and offered with some good heavy bullets. I do wish 45LC ammo cost was in line with the 45 acp. And, The rim makes reloading easier. The 44mag makes the most sense. I guess the 460 would be my 2nd choice, if I needed something in this class.
