Not to my taste either, but possibly better looking than other choices. A feller could always buy a stock set off Ebay and replace the brake with a cap, but that would add to the already exorbitant price (in my mind, anyway). Certainly, it's a rugged piece that wouldn't have to be babied.
Sure am glad I got my new Number 1 from Darrik when I did.
