Back in the early - mid 60's bull fights from Mexico used to be aired in Chicago on regular TV (IIRC on WGN) with nothing censored. Had TV commentators same as regular televised sports, too. Depending on the quality of the Matador's performance he could get awarded an ear, both ears, or both ears and the tail from the bull.
