There is no real difference between the two.
If you want to see a bit of a difference, up the velocity of the 33 to 340 Wby or better yet 338 RUM or Lapua.
But who the hell would want to pack something shootable in any of those on an elk mountain?
Pass the 308 Win or, 30-06, or 270...
