Not about Ramshot powders but on the same subject matter, I send email to Hodgdon and they sent me info that "They never use magnum primers in "308 size range" cartridges.......regardless of the powder".
I was specifically asking about H380 but their answer was all inclusive, regardless of the powder burn rate or form.
Took me a little by surprise..

That's normally my inclination, as well. Still, switching to magnum primers in a 7-08 with Big Game gave me much tighter groups than standard primers did.
It's a good thing we reloaders actually like to tinker.
