I intend putting my seven to work around April/ May this year on a hunt down south in the State of Victoria chasing Sambar Deer. These animals are roughly the size of an Elk, but I'm mainly after some venison so I'll go after the younger ones. The load I'm looking at is 50gn H4350, a 140gn Woodleigh Protected Point, CCI primer and Norma brass. The Woodleigh is well constructed bullet that should handle the job well.
