Smitty, you should be very close to 2,800 with that load of IMR4350. I'm getting that velocity out of my 24inch barrel and the 139gn SST with 50gn H4350. I found that the SST can shed the jacket however. I shot a Fallow deer once and the jacket fell on the ground as I was taking the hide off. The core must have just kept going because they was not much of an exit wound.
