Add my vote. I haven't shot the .44 version but I owned a .357 version for a year or two. Accurate, reliable. The other option, IMHO, is a Marlin 1894 "cowboy" version with the octagonal barrel. Or a Winchester '92, but they're more expensive and a trigger job on one of those is beyond my skills where the Ruger bolt and Marlin lever are fairly easy.
