I have a very nice and classy Ruger Number 1 single shot .44 Magnum that shoots very well and is like new with box and papers. I intend to sell it (got another Number 1 in .405 and don't need two of them) and would make you a good deal on it if you are interested. By the way, I have owned 2 77/44's and neither would shoot well. I would be reluctant to ever take a chance on a 77/44 again unless I could wring it out on the range before buying.
