Shrap- I have the very same thing - could not imagine parting with it. Beautiful gun with a terrific action. Fun to carry.

OP- for whatever reason that 44mag is one rifle I don't reload for. I tested several factory brands and weights and the Hornady Leverevolution ammo (225grain I believe) shot best BUT...I was never happy with its performance on game. I went to different bullets and but am awaiting results. One thing I found when re-testing was that the '92 just didn't like lighter bullets- at all. Seemed to fling them very wild. I am wondering if others have seen similar things with pistol cartridges being shot out of 20" barrels? Get over 200 grain and things iron out.
