Lots of stuff woks !
As I'm going to consume my bear meat, I want the animal as clean as possible, when I open him up.
That being the case, I use whole corn kernels & a vanilla based spray, as MCH indicates.
The vanilla is an excellent attractant & the whole kernel corn goes right through them, as evidenced by the volumes of yellow, corn filled scat.
If you've never opened up a carrion/meat/fish/oil eating bear, it's quite the stench !!
