I've only bear hunted once.

We used:

Pastries (From local donut shop)
Fermented Oats (Fun watching the chipmunks and squirrels get hammered while your in the stand) lol
Bread from Subway restaurants that was being thrown out.
Used fryer grease from a local restaurant
Molasses
And sprayed the leaves around the bait with liquid smoke

We had 5 out of 6 baits getting hit hard. (One was in a bad location)

Then...

The acorns dropped early that year and they shut off completely.

The deer hunter does not notice the mountains
