I figure the cheese we use to bait catfish slat traps would work great. It comes in cans from Champlin Nets in Jonesville, LA.
Stinks to high heaven, don’t get it on your clothes, you’ll have to burn them!
Bears don’t like nasty stuff like that as much as people would think.
If bait gets wet and start to sour bears will often abandon it.
