My nephew got out of the Air Force after a couple year stint and applied for every disability payment known to mankind. There wasn't a thing wrong with him.
Much of this crap is a total scam.
If you know how to use the system you get in. If you don't and really need help you're out. There is a high percentage of C-130 maintainers and air crew members that got or will get prostate cancer. Then there's equipment that wasn't decontaminated after it was brought back from SEA with agent orange all through it. I had prostate cancer in 2010. The VA told me I made too much money. There were two guys at work with a VA disability from wrecking while drunk. They were the "can't touch me I'm a 10 point vet" types. Combat disabled vets? Never said it once. One of the turds was asked why he didn't have a purple heart license plate and he said I don't qualify and shut up.
