Alcoholism has very negative effects on mental and physical health, and can result in danger to the public. Homosexuality just makes Christians mad.

I don't mind leaving them alone. I don't care if they want to screw dogs and cats. Don't ask and don't tell. And I don't buy your quote about so-called scientific research. Just a few years ago, before there was political pressure, the psychiatrists'' association classified homosexuality as a mental disorder. Now there is political pressure and everyone knows what you have to say to get tenure and grants.
Besides, did you read the link in the original post? The new study says it's mostly a choice or results from something you didn't inherit.
