I have receiver sights on a lot of rifles. I'm 60, wearing trifocals and I have no problem making shots in the kill zone at 200+ yards. I much prefer a blade front sight to any bead. Call it Patridge, Sourdough or blade, but I shoot much better with them than a bead. Front sight, front sight, front sight. Practice, practice, practice.
