I spent a month up their in march of 85 outta carson On the snake river plains outta Mt Home AFB Balls azz cold in that wind. Rolling around in a 11 ton 113 "armoured" beer can with a fugged up heater was not very fun. Us dismounts were looking forward to unazzing that thing just to move around and fight and warm up doing miles gear force on force training. That fughing wind/ hawk cut right thru to the bone on ya.
