Problem is (as was pointed out to me by DeFlave) they need to know cause of death before they can call it murder. The guy was having a medical crisis when they got there. Also, we need to know the law of Minnesota on causation. Anyone?



Procedurally, or course, Dave's right. At this point there's too many unknowns to start throwing around charges.

However, as someone else noted, regardless of the autopsy results, they will be an excuse to riot.

If the result is homicide, "those cops murdered him, let's burn this place down",

if it come back as not murder, "It's a cover up, let's burn this place down".
