Not to hijack the thread but what would be a good standard load, not +P for plinking and self defense?
3" barreled J frame.
4.5gr to 5gr of Unique under a 150-170 cast bullet is a good load. The old standard 3.5gr of Bullseye is accurate and will really stretch a pound of powder.
